Who will shoot my wedding?
We (Matt and Jess) always work as a 2-person team on wedding days.
Where are you located? Can you travel to shoot my wedding?
We are based in Ojai, California (between Santa Barbara and Malibu). However, we love to travel and take a limited amount of out of state and country weddings and elopements each year.
Do you require a deposit?
Yes. We require 50% at the time of booking to reserve your date. The second half is due the week of your wedding.
How many photos will I get?
You will receive all the good images from your day or session - edited and high res - in a personal online gallery. Typically, you can expect to receive around 150 images from a portrait session and between 600-800 for an 8-hour wedding day.
How long will it take to get my photos back?
Portrait sessions typically have a 2-4 week turnaround. Weddings typically take 8-12 weeks.
Do you offer prints or albums?
You’re able to order both prints and albums directly from the online gallery we deliver. You’re also welcome to download your digital images and order them from any other site you’d like.
What kind of equipment do you use?
We shoot with a few Canon R6’s combined with an array of different prime lenses (24, 35, 50, 85 + 135mm) and Jess’s personal favorite - the Canon 24-70mm. We also shoot with a Canon EOS 3 film camera and a Super 8 video cam. We use a DJI Mavic Pro for our drone photo and video.
How far in advance do I need to book you?
Most of our couples book us about 6-12 months in advance. The earlier you inquire, the better your chances are of us still having your date open.
